Well done Mallon and Middlesbrough Labour Council,
you have created a derelict wasteland in central Middlesbrough
which resembles run down Newcastle in the late 60s.
How you managed to recreate the decay and desperation of 1969 is really incredible.
You should be very proud of yourselves.

I hear the next film is about the second world war and the blitz.
I showed some photos of Middlesbrough to someone from South Shields many years ago.
He asked if it was Belfast and was quite shocked to learn that it was Middlesbrough.
And that was before the council called in the demolition squads to raze the town to the ground.

Look at the cop with the megaphone, I'm sure its him.
The film crew said he refused to wear a Noddy hat.
Wasn't Gresham one of Mallons star projects. Look at the place.

I do wish people would stop running the town down all of the time. Yes Mallon has made a mess of the re-development although in his defence he wasn`t to know there`d be a WORLD economic slump,was he? There are plenty of fantastic places in the town and surounding areas. I`l bet all the people coming on here knocking the town either don`t live in the boro or are tory/lib dem suporters just knocking the labour party

This is not a film set, this is a residential area in the heart of Middlesbrough. It has been sytematically destroyed by Mallon and this Labour Council.
World economic slump, dont make me laugh.
Ive lived and worked in Middlesbrough all my life and have witnessed first hand the destruction by Labour.
They have been in power all that time, its nobody elses fault.

tomfoolery I bet that you do not live in Gresham or in Grove Hill. What about these residents who cannot leave their doors open because of the rats coming in. We do not need to run our town down as our Councillors do it for us. These pictures show everyone including Phil Spencer and Kirsty Allsop how right they are about Middlesbrough. If Mallon loved our town so much why does he not live here. As regards Charlie Rooney in charge of Re-generation he is just the biggest joker, however the biggest joke is on us the poor taxpayer.
