I am led to believe that when one is called to go for an interview before the Atos panel, the questions asked are from a computer based point scoring questionaire in which yes and no answers are required. Depending upon which answers you give to specific questons determines whether you accrue enough points and therefore determines how severe your disability is and how much benefit you are entitlted to, there are 2 sections of the ESA one in which people who score the most points are regarded as not able to work at all a\and the other group which says you can work with support. The discrepncy which comes about with appeals is that the interview does not take into consideraion the individuals probs whe doing such tasks as writing walking etc , . Atos gets paid £1400 for every disabled person they find fit for work which is why so many appeal as Atos are on the fiddle

A solution for the genuinely disabled
During the Atos Panel interview which is NOT "Medically based”
(how can a non medical based interview determine medical requirements?)
State PASS to all questions asked by the Atos Panel
Then request a medical based appeal under Article 8 of the Human Rights Act
plus claim an attendance payment of £1400 for the inconvenience caused
