Atos kills: euthanasia options

ATOS is the private company employed by the Department of Works and Pensions who's task is to remove 25% of claimants from disability living allowance, and 91% of ESA claimants will be deemed 'fit for work'. When you consider that the government's own estimate of disability welfare fraud is 0.5%, it makes you realise that 199 out of every 200 people who are going to have their disability benefits removed are genuinely sick and disabled people.

So I asked them about their euthanasia options as some disabled and sick people would prefer a clean and painless extermination rather than being forced to die of starvation, neglect or homelessness.

Bloody call centres! Good phone call though..."who is basically responsible for the extermination of disabled people at the moment?" made me laugh out loud! Unfortunately, I too am awaiting the dreaded ESA form and probably won't be laughing then...

Withdraw Atos Healthcare's contract from DWP assesments
Responsible department: Department for Work and Pensions

We urge her Majestys Government to remove the contract for medical examinations and assesments for benefits from the French dutch Company Atos - sub branch Atos Healthcare. The assesments cause untold suffering, mental anxiety, fear, and poverty amongst many disabled and vulnerable adults, teenagers, children and carers nationwide. Many have committed suicide, others have died, yet others have become homeless or had breakdowns.
We urge the Government to listen to your people to whom you serve in office, and under human rights, to take action and end Atos's contract.

The cuts have already caused deaths through suicide, and will cause many more through neglect, starvation and homlessness.

So yesterday, I made a call to ATOS (the private company hired to assess medical claimants) to ask them what euthanasia options were available to the sick and disabled, in preference to dying from starvation, neglect or homelessness.
