A historic vote on growing demands for Britain to leave the European Union will be held in the Commons before Christmas.
MPs will debate whether the Government should give voters a chance to decide the issue once and for all in a referendum.
It will be the first time Parliament has held a major vote on seeking the public’s view since the 1975 referendum confirming the decision to join the Common Market.

CHECK YOUR HEADLINE DM, we dont get the vote, it’s the MPs who are going to vote and we all know what that means. These are the parasites who have little interest in this country, their main aim is to hang in until they get the chance of a job in Brussels. Our wonderful Politicians have been working the system for years so don’t think for one minute they are going to stop this gravy train. If by some miscalculation they were to vote on a referendum I can tell you now it wont be a straight IN or OUT ,any voting papers will be so convoluted that you wont even understand what you are voting for.

'In September 2007, Opposition leader David Cameron promised: ‘Today, I will give this cast-iron guarantee: If I become PM, a Conservative government will hold a referendum’ on Lisbon.' David Cameron is a liar and completely untrustworthy. He should immediately call a general election, or keep his 'Cast Iron Guarantee' and give the people their right to decide the future of their country.
